Unique Water Filtration Technology Electropositive Water Filtration System

Using unique, Disruptor™ filtration technology, Ultra Disruptor removes more impurities than any other water filter, including chlorine and harmful bacteria, cysts and viruses with exceptional high flow rates with no rejected water waste. Electro adsorption enables the removal of a wide range of contaminants. It also means the water filter media can have larger pores, allowing much faster water flow. Ultra Disruptor electro adsorption water filters remove viruses and pathogens (including Legionella), cellular debris, trace pharmaceuticals, chlorine and particulates. Ultra Disruptor technology improves the safety and taste of drinking water.
The Ultra Disruptor Submicron Depth Filter, which is manufactured using a proprietary, patented, electro adsorptive media technology, capable of removing submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electro-adhesion and ion exchange. This technology makes it possible for a nonwoven media to produce filtration efficiency comparable to ultra-membrane filtration but at very low-pressure drop, with high flow rates and high loading capacity working equally well in fresh, brackish or salt waters.
This media has been specifically engineered to have an average pore size of 2 microns and a mean flow pore of 0.7 microns. This allows the naturally occurring charge field to affect the total volume of the individual pores, as well as virtually the entire void volume of the filter media itself.
The media in this filter cartridges efficiently retain inorganic and organic particulates, cell debris, endotoxins, virus, proteins, many colloids, bacteria and inorganic submicron particulates. Contaminants are removed by being exposed to a tortuous path through the media, depth and the powerful electropositive charge.
Applications benefitting from the Ultra Disruptor filtration process:
Residential use where cost-effective systems must be used and the presence of pathogenic-laden water is of ongoing concern
Food and beverage industry for high purity water
Pharmaceutical industry for high purity water
Commercial pre-RO and ultrafiltration treatment to sustain the life of the membranes
Greywater recycling for removal of pathogens
Desalination for pre-filtration
Benefits using the Ultra Disruptor Filter Cartridges versus other media:
Finer particle retention and filtration capacity (2 to 3-micron pore size comparable to a 0.02-micron* size for virus removal)
Higher loading capacity (up to 25 times greater)
Greater efficiency in salt, brackish and freshwater
Wider pH operating window (4-9pH)
Very low-pressure drop (approximately 2 psi)
The ability of using one stand-alone filter system to achieve pathogen, heavy metal, taste and odour, chemical and organics removal or reduction (the carbon and silver version); for a broad range of applications including residential whole-house point-of-entry and point-of-use water filtration.

FLR stage is for the removal of heavy metals, fluoride, arsenic, chlorine, chloramine, oestrogen and many other contaminants found in water supplies. A state-of-the-art multimedia Axial flow filter cartridge designed in such a way water flows from bottom to top ensures a long contact time and there for allowing for maximum adsorption and treatment. The long contact time allows for high chlorine as well as other organic reductions. Cartridges are filled with our own special blend of filtration media including catalytic coconut shell activated carbon, bromac natural carbons, zeolite and KDF a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals – copper and zinc. FLR will Remove/ Reduce these contaminates* Fluoride, turbidity, bacteria, algae, fungi, bromine, chlorine, chloramines, arsenic, nitrates, fertilizers, pesticides, VOC’s, THMs, aluminium, cadmium, chromium, copper, iron, lead, manganese, ammonia, nickel, zinc, strontium, uranium, vanadium, hydrogen sulfide, bacteria, algae, Radionuclides, pharmaceutical by-products PFAS, PFOA, & PFOS, Trihalomethanes (THMs) Organics & other inorganic substances such as MTBE (methyl-t-butyl ether) petroleum by-products, Turbidity, and Tannins, the result is a great reduction or the total removal of a wide variety of contaminants.

Bone char carbon is currently one of the most effective methods for the reduction of fluoride, arsenic, chlorine, lead, cadmium, mercury, copper, zinc, aluminum, radio-nuclides, radioactive isotopes, fertilizers, uranium, radium, pesticides, Turbidity, Tannin and herbicides from water.
What is Charcoal?
Charcoal is a porous black solid material, consisting of an amorphous form of carbon, obtained as a residue when wood, bone, or other organic matter is heated in the absence of air. This process removes water and volatile chemicals from the material. The carbonised product possesses different chemical properties, depending on the source material.
Charcoal has historically been used as a fuel, writing material and pigment, and also as filtration media, for centuries. Its efficacy as filter media is due to the structure of the product after processing. The material is very porous, providing a large surface area, thereby enabling the capture of many unwanted contaminants. This occurs via adsorption, through which the undesired substances stick to the surface of the filtration material.
Bone char is made of charred cattle bones that are thoroughly cleaned out of cold storage,  and completely dried. It then gets carbonized under controlled conditions at 1472 degrees F. You end up with 100% organic, Kosher Certified bone char that is 10% carbon, 80% phosphate of calcium and 10% calcium carbonate. As a filter media it leaves behind only beneficial minerals and no toxicity. It is more effective at water filtration than coconut due to being 100s of times more porous with fluoride-attracting calcium.
Brimac® Bone Char is a unique natural form of activated carbon, due to the nature of the raw material, and the kilning process. The carbonised product possesses great mechanical strength due to its chemical composition and improved adsorption of many unwanted chemicals and heavy metals such as fluoride, chlorine, lead and mercury, colour and tannins.  Its main use for many years has been in sugar refining, where it has been used to decolourise solvent sugar and remove other mineral impurities. Brimac® Bone Char is also a very effective water filter media, as its ability to remove many heavy metals is greater than standard activated carbon. Most of these heavy metals are neurotoxins that pose significant hazards to human health and are therefore to be avoided.
One of the key differences between Bone Char and “normal” active carbon is that it captures the unwanted contaminates using different modes. This can sometimes cause preferential removal of some contaminates over others,
The presence of chlorine, chlorine salts, and sulfates affect the performance of the bone charcoal as they cause cross-reactions with the calcium present. Also, our tests have shown that below pH 4.5 the bone char starts to dissolve, limiting performance.
For optimal performance, the media should not be disturbed during operation and therefore backwashing is not recommended so protection of the media by a pre-filtration bed is recommended.

This media will also remove colour and Tannins from water.
for the 10″ we would roughly expect the life to be at least 3000 US gallons with a flow rate 0f 0.5 GPM again this is dependent on the quality of the raw water.
Greatest Lead Reduction Capacity of Any 10 inch Cartridge ( Compared with all NSF and WQA listed products)

Brimac® Bone Char is produced to the highest standards in our Mexican production facility and has achieved several internationally recognised certifications.
The granular media is certified to NSF/ANSI 61 Certifications, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System NSF 61 Kosher, Halal

Pure Carbon Blocks are registered in compliance with NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 61 for several things, including VOCs, THM’s, Lead & Heavy Metal Reduction, Chloramine Reduction & Chlorine Taste & Odour reduction. This also includes meeting standards of purity & safety of the materials used.

The technologically advanced LRC cartridge ensures that the reduction of heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, chrome, copper, and many more, as well as hazardous chemicals such as chlorine are removed from your drinking water, along with a monumental amount of other VOC’s and THM’s. With our ageing water supplies it is not uncommon to have elevated levels of heavy metals in our treated water supplies. These elevated levels of heavy metals combined with the different chemicals being used to treat our water supplies can have serious health effects and can also cause severe problems within our homes.
